Hello !!!

Things are certainly in a mess around the world !! I would guess that the great majority of people around the world are being affected by all the constant changes and unknown’s right now !!! Even if it is just the knock-on effect of everything- What can you do and/or who can to turn to with everything in a constant state of flux as the world is in today ???

Good Question ???

There is only one place and one place only where you can turn that can/will help you overcome any,,, and I mean any, life problem, life trial or life changing event ,,,,, that would be Jesus Christ !!!

If you know him and believe and have accepted him as your savior,, there is nothing he can’t help you with or out of !!!!

I am here to tell you,,, he works,,, I use him all the time with never a disappointment !!!

You just have to seriously pray to him and ask his help,,, then wait, have faith and believe that he will sort things out for you !!!

Now here is the best part,,,, Have you heard the saying,,, “God Works in Mysterious Ways” ??? Well my experience with him is that he works in,, EXCITING ways,,, you will be amazed,,, guaranteed !!!!

Okay, so you have a big or small problem that is heavy on your heart,,, you pray to him and ask for help and guidance,,, knowing already that you have a number of solutions in your mind that just might make everything okay,,, but not sure how to make it happen ???

Well,, just wait, have patience, have faith and experience a loving God at work,,,,, He will open doors that you never even thought or imagined were even possible for you !! Now here is the kicker,,, most of the time they are pretty simple fixes !!!! It is exciting and over-whelming when it happens !!! I am in awe each time he shows me the path or open door !!!

Many many times I have just stopped and said to myself,,, I couldn’t/wouldn’t have ever thought of that !!!

Let your Lord and Heavenly Father show his stuff,,, he knows exactly what you need and how you need it to bring his Unfathomable Peace back to you !!!

Its all part of the package of Good News when you believe and accept Jesus Christ as you Savior and ask him into your heart to lead and change your life !!!

Go for it today,, no one, except God, knows about tomorrow !!!!

I believe time is getting real short to easily make a commitment and take a stand for Jesus !!!

These past few months, I have had a number of notices about friends and family that have been diagnosed with a number of different major types of illnesses such as cancer, bone disease, and heart problems !!! Major, life-changing illness, that can force you into a face-off with death !!!

Most of these types of illness’s and disease’s seem to hit us as we get older,, but that is not written in stone either !!! They can hit us at any time in our lives and all of a sudden we are faced with a life or death situation !!!

So what do we do after the initial shock of the thing,,,, we, of course, fight for our lives !!! I have meant very very few people in my lifetime that were ready for death,,,, in fact,,, the majority of people don’t even want to discuss or think about it !!!

So my point here is not whether we are going to face the end of our lives here on earth,, but what happens after we arrive at death’s doorway ???

None of us will get out of here alive,,,, unless the Rapture comes before our appointed end of time in this life !!

My question then,,, what happens to us after we pass through that doorway ???

Having full faith and belief in the inspired word of God in his Bible,, I believe the choice of what happens to us is completely up to us to choose,,, while we are still alive on this earth !!!!

There are two choices ,,,, Heaven or Hell !!!

Believe me I know that there are lots and lots of variations and arguments against this concept, Satan is good at deception and lies,,, but the truth is there is only one way to Heaven,,, that is through Jesus Christ,,, anything else is simply fantasy !!!

John 14:6 – Jesus answered, ” I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”

Matthew 7:14 – “Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.“

As Jesus stated,,, he is the only way (Into Heaven) and it will be difficult choosing him in this life !!!

So the easiest way is the world’s way,,, don’t make a choice,,, don’t accept Jesus,,, live for yourself,,, if it feels good do it ,,,, I’m good the way I am,,, don’t bug me about it !!! Think about it,,, how could this, so called loving God,, send anyone to Hell ??

Well the short answer is,,, God doesn’t send anyone to Hell,,, that is entirely your choice and your choice alone !!!

So if your choice is one of the hundreds or even thousands of ways to not have to make a choice for Jesus,,,, well,,, all I can say is, I’ll pray for you and have your fun here in this life,,, because when you come to death’s door,,, as we all will ,,, the fun will be over !!!

So what do you have to lose ??? A lot I would say,,, your life span here on earth is just a nano-second compared to eternity !!!!

I pray you choose Jesus !!!

Well the verdict is in,, I have Sarcoma Cancer in my lower right leg and Tibia- I have run the whole gambit of options,,, Chemo,,, Radiation,,,, Leg Saving Surgery,,, Amputation ?? It will probably be Amputation as a way forward. That is definitely a life changing event.

So,,, is it a detriment to my life or an opportunity in my life ??? Well it has to be an opportunity-

Jump ahead (2-1/2 Months)

It has been two and one half month since I had my right lower leg amputated. Has it been tough,,,, that is a definite yes. Has it forced a change to my life,,,, that is a definite yes as well … Has the change been for the better or for the worst ,,,,, that answer depends on what I allow my point of view to be ???

If your point of view is worldly,, in that this life is all you have,,, and when it is over,,, it is over,,, then it is a bad thing. It will definitely change how I live and interact in this life!! Things are certainly going to be more difficult and take a lot more attention and time.

Jump ahead (02-Aug-2023)

Now it has been almost 5 years since my amputation and since I started learning to use this new magic prosthetic lower right leg. Has there been ups and downs ??? Certainly yes.  One night, in the middle of this night, half asleep I got up and headed to bathroom on my knee scooter,,, not paying complete attention when I crossed the threshold into the bathroom,,, I fell down and took the bathroom sink with me, breaking my right middle finger in the fall as the sink crushed it !!! I still have to deal with some phamtom pain, once in a while,,,, like by right foot is cramping up or my right foot is frozen or my right calf has a charley horse,,,, problem is,,, I don’t have a right foot or anything below the knee !!!!

Yes there have been some persistant issues but there is a far greater upside then I could have ever imagined !!

It has forced me back to God and Jesus- I have spent a lot of time in prayer about all that was going on and he has blessed my life with a greater peace and contentment than I would have ever achieved without this down time !!!!

I don’t “want” like I used to “want” living in and for the world and I don’t need either as he provides all that I really need each day !!! 

I have reached a point that I can pray for things and people that aren’t tied to any direct benefit for myself. 

He has shown me the arrogance, pride, greed, self-satifaction, selfishness and prejudice that was ruling my life and destroying me from the inside out !!!

I am telling you that Cancer and the loss of a leg,,, was a very very small price to pay to come back home to Jesus and spend eternity in heaven with him and the father !!! A very small price in return for the love and peace he has returned to me !!!

My Grandma used to say,,,, “In the darkest cloud,,, there is always a silver lining” !!! That I can testify, in my life, is a given fact !!! You just have to believe and look for it !!!

If you are in a dark cloud of your life,,,, turn back to Jesus or seek him out ,,,, and he will show you the Golden lining !!!!

Guaranteed !!!!
