“The Good” and “The Not So Good”

I have known and followed Jesus for a lot of years,,, most of my life. There have been “good times” and there have been “not so good” times. In looking back at all this,,, I can state without any doubt ,,,, that the “good times” were when I was close with Jesus and talking with him daily,,, the “not so good” were when I was running from him and handling my own affairs.

I am not saying that the “good times” were all fun and games, what I am saying is that I knew that Jesus was leading and had my back. Although things may have been tough,,, there was a calm in me that just reassured me that all would be okay. I have to say, that is a big deal.

In the “not so good” times when I was apart from Jesus and running in the world,, I never had that calm or reassurance that all would be okay. BIG DIFFERENCE !!!!

Now you ask,,, why if I am this convinced that this is the case in my life,,, why do I still have “not so good” times. Well that is an easy answer,,, I am a sinner and I still have a sin nature that I must fight against every day. If I go a few days or longer and disconnect from Jesus (run away from him)(stop talking with him) then the world comes flooding in with all the self-pity,, self-glorification and the “I deserve better” feeling.

We all have to realize that when we get out of Jesus’s yard and into the Devil’s yard (World) ,,, we are all out of our league without the help, guidance and protection of Jesus.

Accept Jesus and pray and talk with him every minute, moment, day,,, I guarantee he will give you a calm and peace that you will not believe but have always longed for, no matter what your present situation may be !!!!

Jesse Speaks for Jesus ???

“Trump says you must be able to speak the language of English, [be] qualified, and have a job skill,” Jackson said Monday. “Jesus would not qualify to come in Trump’s country—he would not qualify to get into Jesus’ kingdom.”

I saw this on the news a couple of weeks back and really could not believe what I heard,,, especially coming from a man, Jesse Jackson, who pretends to follow Jesus …

Lets look at this literally, just for fun,,, “Jesus would not qualify to come in Trump’s country,, Interesting. I believe Jesus can speak English as well as any other language he choses ??? No job skill??? Well let me think,, healing people of any illness or injury they had and raising people from the dead,,, seems to me to be a pretty good job skill ???

Now the hard facts in my mind. Any man that says something like “you would not qualify for heaven” ,,, knows nothing of Jesus or the requirement for heaven. We are all sinners and none of us deserve heaven. It is only through God’s saving grace and Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross that any of us can get in.

So at any time,,, anyone can believe and confess they are a sinner to Jesus and ask forgiveness of their sins,, and they are added to the Book of Life and will go to heaven.

So,,,,, I would have to suggest that any man that would make a statement like that, needs to check his own standing in the Book of Life according to the guidance of the Bible.

2 Peter 2:1
1 But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, and will bring swift destruction on themselves.

LGBT

LGBT,,, Why is it so deceitful and deadly. Because it openly flaunts itself in Gods face in open defiance of retribution. Powerful and Worldly influential people, call this sin a great gift from God leading many naive young people into this practice and Hell if they don’t seek forgiveness.

Do thieves flaunt that they are thieves. Do adulterous people brag about their sin. Leaders of this movement are proud of their sin with no fear of God.

If they don’t repent,,, but hold to their sinful path,,, God’s wrath will pour out on them with merciless fury. I pray they see the light before this happens.

Romans 1:32
32 Although they know full well God’s just sentence — that those who practice such things deserve to die — they not only do them, but even applaud others who practice them.
