Saving Grace

That joy he gave, I can’t replace
He filled my soul, that empty space
And all my sins, which brought disgrace
Washed away without a trace
Oh such wonderful saving grace
So daily now I seek his face
I’ve made my mind, I’ve packed my case
I’m heading toward that eternal place
But Satans angry giving chase
I mustn’t look back but keep up the pace
Until I reach that heavenly base
Where God is waiting to embrace

Good Day !!

With all the chaos and uncertainty going around in the world today ,,,, it is tough to stay positive ,, for sure !!!

To add to the unknown stresses,,, there is a lot of renewed talk of Nuclear war ,,, Getting Nuked !! Who would not be apprehensive about this scenario ??? It could affect you no matter where you are !!!

Well here is my take on this subject!!! We are all going to be Nuked someday !!!

We may be nuked, not just by a war ,,, but by disease, disaster, health issues, accidents, old age or just being in the wrong place at the wrong time !!! Bottom line ,,, death is in everyone’s future ,,, someday !!!

So what am I saying ???

We shouldn’t be worried about how, when or where we will be Nuked ,,, but where we are going after this life-ending event happens !!!

We have two choices in this regard ,,,, we step into Heaven with the Lord Jesus Christ for eternity or we step into Hell for eternity!!!

This choice has to be made before we are Nuked and pass away from this world ,,, no second chances after we die !!!

To go to Heaven with Jesus for eternity,, you have to believe who he is ,,, son of God that came to take on our sins !!! You ask him into your life/heart and admit you are a sinner ,, as we all are ,,, and accept his forgiveness through faith in him as your Savior and you will be forgiven and be filled with his Holy Spirit forever and be heaven bound,,, no matter how you are nuked !!

After you accept him and are filled with his guiding spirit ,,, you won’t be so concerned about being nuked,,, as you now have a guaranteed beautiful eternity waiting you !!

So how do you chose Hell for eternity,,, well just refuse Jesus or put him off until you are nuked ,,,, in other words ,,, just continue as you are without Jesus until your fated day comes !!

I pray you will choose Jesus today !!!

Rabbit Proof Fence

It is the Chinese New Year which is represented by the rabbit, one of 12 animals in the Chinese Zodiac Calendar.

In 1859, Thomas Austin, an English settler in Australia released 24 rabbits into the Australian outback for hunting purposes. Within a few years, rabbits had spread rapidly across several territories. The rabbits destroyed large areas of grassland and caused desertification.

Many attempts to exterminate the rabbits had failed. In 1901 the construction of the 2nd longest fence in the world began – ‘The Rabbit proof fence’ stretching over 3200 Kms from the north to south coast of Australia. This fence proved very effective and then disease killed off huge numbers of rabbits in the 1950s.

Although we love these cute little bunnies, they multiply in prolific numbers and are hard to control once established. They eat crops, grass and any surface vegetation causing land degradation and dry soil erosion.

It’s like sin. We ignored or permitted a few sins to be released onto our spiritual turf only for it to become a huge problem later on.

We have all had to deal with sins that we allowed to breed and thus spread across our spiritual territory, maybe thinking that they were harmless or controllable. Those sins ate up our ‘green land’ and caused a desert condition in our lives.

But thanks be to God, we have the knowledge and ability to build a ‘sin-proof fence’ using the Word of God. If any part of the fence is breached the Holy spirit or Bible or spirit-led Christian will let us know so that we can deal with the problem before it becomes a desert, before it starts to erode our joy.

We all need healthy boundaries. What fence do we need to build in order to keep sin out and keep good in? Let’s keep within the boundaries that God has set.
