You can lead a horse to water,,, but you can’t make them drink !!! In the times I spent around horse’s while growing up,, I can relate to that old timers observation !!

We packed into the mountains on and with horses and did a bit of trail riding on them !! We would come upon a cool, clear stream of running water and that horse would not take a drink, even though he was hot and sweaty from climbing through the mountains !! That was always kind of perplexing to me,,, but,,, I guess they had their reasons ???

That’s kind of the way it is with spreading the Good News of Salvation through Jesus Christ !!! I can show you the way and the truth and the experiences and blessing that I have personally experienced because I have accepted him,,, but I can’t accept or reject him for you !!! That is only your decision to make !!

I cannot send anyone to Heaven or keep them from Hell !! That can only be done by Jesus Christ and your acceptance or rejection of him !!

I can only show you the path to his cool, clear stream of saving Grace ,,,, but I can’t make you drink !!!

I guess we all have our reasons for the decisions we make !!!
